I have 220 acres hardwood and plantation pine and have had a Massey 235 and a Ford Super Dexta for years. After hurricane Katrina I had about 30 large oak trees down and did not want to see them go to waste but needed a bigger tractor to handle them. I started looking and wound up buying a Mahindra 6520. I am very satisfied and impressed with it. I never knew how many uses I would have for the fel. One suggestion I have for anybody looking to buy a tractor with a fel is to make sure you get a 4 x 4. I have a friend that bought a Mahindra 6530 with fel but not a 4x4 and he said it was a big mistake. By the way, I live in southwest Mississippi.
