It's been a rainy day in Northern California. Not much I can do outside, so I've been playing on the Internet. I found this forum on a jump from MTF, (My Tractor Forum). Always glad to find another forum where I can post questions and some time answer others questions. I'll be visiting quite often.
I'm the proud owner of 10 tractors in various states of operation. My work horse is a 2005 New Holland TC-30 with front loader and back hoe. My number 2 is a 1948 Allis-Chalmers, model C. I rebuilt about two years ago when the engine jammed. It can do a lot of work since I added an aftermarket 3 point hitch but is not as maneuverable as the hydro TC-30. Number 3 is my Troy-Bilt "Pony". It cuts my acre of maintained grass. Number 4 is a 1988 Ford YT16H. I use it for roto-tilling. Number 5 is a 1990 Sears Craftsman, GT16 Varidrive that has a home designed and built cat 0, 3 point hitch and a 4 foot rock rake. I guess number 6 would be my rebuilt MW 18/46. It just stands around and gives me rides. Number 7 is my electric tractor creation being built from a MW 18/38 whose engine was needed for Number 8, a 2000 Sears Craftsman with a blown engine. Number 9 is another Sears, Craftsman GT16 Varidrive that's waiting in line for complete evaluation and rebuild. Number 10 is a MW, 11 hp that is in pieces. The engine, transaxle and drive mechanism are scatter around my work area. Not sure what I will do with it.
