Just picked up a 10 ft. New Idea lime spreader at auction this weekend, model # 100. serial # 10f. It has a grass seeder mounted on back. Good shape bottom gates in spreader box free and move easily, seeder box is froze up but I think it'll loosen up.
Anyone have any info on his unit? It has a label inside lid for setting of different fertilizers and limes but dont know what that correspondes to. Also the wheel hubs have a spring loaded pin any ideas on this, possiblly to shut off agitator? Also any info on the seeder, such as adjusments or uses. It has an opening every 8 in. Thanks for the help.
