New ice melt tech / Rim Guard prices?

Hi everyone:

I found this article on USA Today this week. It reports the State of Maryland is testing a substance made from sugar beets. It makes brine stick to roads better. The basic premise is to keep ice and snow from forming on roads without ruining ground water.

I am just wondering if an entire state (first one than others) starts drawing down on beat juice supplies could that affect the price of Rim Guard?

It's pretty sticky stuff. Maybe it will anchor down them pesky squirrels that I am dodging all the time.
