Since the wife absolutely refuses to give up her side of the garage I was forced to find alternative quarters for my new BX2200. I decided to skip the building permit scene and go with portable storage unit from Cover-it. Here's the spot where I chose to install it.

Here we have the frame all set up. My helper is on the phone with his wife... I bet she wouldn't give up her side of the garge either! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

And here it is completed. As soon as the tractor comes back from having the mmm and landscape rake installed I'll take some more pictures with it inside.

Hey Bob,

That's a pretty slick arrangement. How much did it set you back and where did you get it?

These can be ordered in a variety of sizes and styles from Cover-It. I paid $599 at a local distributor for a 10x16x8 but they have a special on a 12x20x8 for $399 plus shipping on the web site.

It wasn't too hard to build, we did it in 3-4 hours. You will definately want a helper, and a roll of duct tape is very handy. The legs are not screwed into the roof rafters, only friction fit and tend to fall out when you try to stand the section up. Use the duct tape to prevent this and collateral damage from flying tools and detached pieces. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Thanks Bob. Do you have a direct link to the sale you were referring to? I couldn't find anything about a sale on the website. Thanks.
