It took about one month to complete the repair.

Even after repairing the broken transmission, I was skeptical how it was going to run.

Ever since repaired, it has been operated for around 30 hours and works perfectly fine.

Using the tractor every day as my favorite ATV on the ranch.

Actually, it is much better than ATV because of the 4x4, HST with loader, PTO, and 3 point hitch.

It is very convenient and versatile for mowing, towing, spray weed killer, carrying the compost, for the garden ect.

I am so happy to have it repaired for less than $4000 including the tractor itself.

I will probably keep it as long as I can handle it.

How did it break?

I am a third owner and don't have any idea how it was broken
even though the previous owner didn't have any info for the broken transmission.

He told me he purchased the tractor from a neighbor who moved out of California a couple years ago.

Jkk, Good job on the repair! Splitting any tractor is always a challenge. I hope that it lasts for at least as long as you own the tractor. Greg

Actually, it wasn't bad compared to the Massey Furguson 30 industrial tractor that replaced the transmission pump several years ago.

It is small and lightweight. 

All procedures to repair the tractor had been done by me except welding.
