New Holland TT55
Hi, I used my tractor to mow last week and when I went to load my tractor on the trailer, I realized that I hadn't raised my mower deck. I stopped half way up the ramps to raise the deck and accidentally shut off the tractor. When I tried to re-start it, it acted as one of the safety switches wasn't satisfied and wouldn't start. This happend to me about a month ago and after letting it sit for about 30 minutes and fiddling with the PTO and range selector it started. Today I unplugged the range selector and checked continuity, but the switch showed open in neutral and low range position. If I did everything right, I think that switch is bad. Any suggestions?

Welcome to TBN!

It sounds like you've found your problem. My guess is that the switch should have continuity in neutral and be open in all other range lever positions so the starter is disabled.
