I purchased a TC40D tractor at an estate sale 12 years ago. I’m trying to find out when it was manufactured. I found an aluminum plate ( see enclosed pic) with the following numbers [G510492][08176][3M22106] and [1121D]. Anyone know what they mean? Appreciate it.
Ford 7710, Ford 550, Ford 1910, Ford 4430, KD Forklift, Ford LGT17H, New Holland L255 Skidsteer
The 1I12D is the date code, but Ford never used 'I' in the date code. But, this is a New Holland. Anyway,
1=2001
I= Sept (9th letter=9th month)
12D=12th day
G510492 is the serial number
The other two numbers are the engine and transmission numbers
