New Holland TC35
Got on my tractor to mow first time this season, and the PTO won't engage. Worked fine last fall. Any suggestions as where to start troubleshooting? The transmission fluid is full. Appreciate suggestions! Any sensors or pumps I need to check before tearing in to the rear PTO?

I do not have a TC35, however many PTO's are actuated in the same manner either via a manual lever which is activating a hydraulic valve to engage the PTO clutch pack or and electrical switch to activate a solenoid which allows hydraulic pressure to engage the PTO clutch. On any tractors with electrical activation the solenoid is accessible on the outside of the tractor, if yours is electrical locate the solenoid and see if it is being energized when the switch is turned on. Many of these the switch will turn on a relay which is what will energize the solenoid, could be as simple as a fuse or bad relay, possibly a bad solenoid coil or a plugged orifice in the solenoid.

After I posted this I noticed the original post was from 2014, sure hope he got fixed long ago.
