new holland tc30 power steering problem

i have a tc30 with 180hrs, the steering seems to be sluggish, fluid is ok, no leaks that i can see, and the tire pressure is normal...im eventually going to bring it to the dealer or have them come get it.....anything else i can do before that....thanks.

Mine is a little sluggish as well. More noticable with weight in the bucket. I think it's the way hydraulic steering works as opposed to a malfunction. It's not much but it is there.

Maybe some other TC30 owners will chime in.

hmmmm, I hope its not my imagination , but i could steer it with one finger, now its just as you said.

I recently traded my NH 1920.. and that was a similar sized ( tad bigger) tractor as a tc30.. As long as engine rps were up, it stered with a finger.. if the engine was a tlow idle.. like 800 rpm.. steering was sluggish..

We have seen many such posts with folks complaining about the lack of power steering especially with full buckets but I have yet to see a post with any complaints made on the SuperSteer axle. We move a lot of pallets loaded heavy with merchandise and we have always been able to easily turn the wheel with the spinner even at idle speeds and with full loads on the forks.

I would think that the New Holland dealers might pick up on this and use the advantage as a good sales tool for the selling more SS axles on their tractors.
