New Holland T1520
I tried starting my 2012 T1520 today and nothing, could not get a glow plug light in dash, clicking at starter, and battery at 100% charge. I found the 5 amp fuse blown and tried to replace it but new fuse blew instantly. Looked at electrical prints in operator's manual and traced fuse to the parking brake switch and safety control module. Pulled PBS and tested good with multimeter. Thinking it could be the safety control module but looking at approximately $400.00 for a replacement. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to look at, or how to test the safety control module?

Clicking at the starter is confusing me. I would first determine I could make the starter spin. Does the starter click just once?

Get a schematic and see WHAT all is on that fuse. Disconnect everything it feeds and replace the fuse with a lamp temporarily to save on fuses. Start plugging things back in. When you get to the one that lights the lamp brightly that's probably your culprit. Check the wires that feed that device carefully. One may have the insulation worn through (or chewed through) and be shorting to ground. Hang onto the $400 for now.
