My front loader stopped in the raised position and will not raise or lower. The bucket will work properly. Fluid was low so filled it, still no action. Pump tries to move arm but it acts like there is a physical block on the arm. I would really appreciate some input on this problem.

Check the coupler connections at the control valve. Sounds like 1 popped loose.

Thanks for the tip. That is the problem, one of the connectors has come loose. I am having trouble reconnecting the coupler. Do I need to release the hydraulic pressure on the coupler? If so how is this done. Also the loader is in a raised position, will there be any danger in releasing the pressure? Thanks again.

Depends on high the bucket is. Use a 4 x 4 under the bucket for safety and either push in on the ball in the QD or unloosen the QD on the hose. Use a rag.
