New Holland Hayliner 67 - Worth?

What's a New Holland Hayliner 67 hay baler go for these days? In good/working condition? It has a swinging drawbar (or whatever the correct name is for it) that swings to one side so it can be backed into a barn, for example (so it doesn't take as much room - it swings out and locks in place when you're actually using it to bale hay).

Actually, I think it's a Super Hayliner 67. I'll have to look at the name when I get home.

At auction depending on how well taken care of it was and if the knotters worked it would bring $300-1000. If the knotters don't work it wouldn't bring much of anything.

It all works fine. We used it last year. It's adjustable too - to make loose/lightweight bales or very tight/heavy bales.

I just don't think we'll be using it anymore. My wife's grandpa is the one that mainly used it and he's getting too old to do it anymore...and we don't want to bale hay ourselves. All we ever did was sell it (hay) once we got rid of the few cattle we had. Sell it cheap at that.

A shame you're on the far side of Ohio - if you were closer AND if I had a place to shed it this winter I'd could have been tempted. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif (Maybe that's a good thing you're further out!) Anyway, good, working, older small Hayliners seem to be fairly popular around here. Seems like a lot of farmers have one tucked away for 'just in case'.
