New Holland 3930 hydraulic selector valve

My tractor is about a 96. It has the hydo selector valve under the seat. It switches from rear lift to the front end loader. It jumps out of position for the loader. I use bungee cord to hold it. Isnt there a plate or adapter that bolts on to allow both front and rear to work without switching?
If so would it be a HV4902 adapter kit?
Why were they made this way if to switch from front rear? Does it allow the hydrauluc pump not to work as hard? If it doesnt hurt it why were they made this way? Mine is a lever type not the push pull knob that i have seen in my search.

I've wondered about this for 20 years. Mine is always bungeed, the loader and 3 point hitch work fine without ever changing the valve position. I haven't bothered to change position in all the years I've owned it.

My 3930 (99)has its hydraulics supplied from one of the two rear remotes, which has a bungee on it. I would love to eliminate the 2 6' long hydraulic hoses and have two rears to satisfy my desire for a top and tilt.

Got a buddy whose dad has a tractor place. He seen my bungee cord and said there was a plate (adapter) you could put on them to allow both front and rear hydraulics to work without the switch lever. Thought i would do search and see what i could find. Never found what he was talking about. I'll to talk to him again.
Ive tried to adjust mine but previous owner has messed up the spring ball tensioner that put pressure on the lever. I never took time or wanted to take the whole shifter plate off.
