Welcome to TBN Rio. Last year I paid 16800 for mine, that was the 16LA loader and R4's. Also that was on the A plan thru my brother. Fill out your profile, we like to know where guys are from ya know! Johnday, what is an 'A Plan'? Sounds like you made a great deal!

The "A" plan is a plan for dealers and employees personal usage. It can be a great price but sometimes you can find better deals.
Ford motor company has an "A" plan and I think a "X" plan. Because of one of my suppliers I was able to buy a Ford F150 at the same price as employees that could buy from the plan. But sometimes when there is rebates available and over stock the "A" plan may not be the best.
Example when the new F150 Crew Cabs came out there was no incentives. As time went on they started giving rebates. So when I bought mine the A plan was the best, today that may not be true.

Larry; The way I understand it, is that you pay a percentage under dealer cost. I've been told anywhere from 5-8%. On road vehicles I've bought this way, I don't remember if I got "incentives" or not. The trucks I buy, ofcourse when I buy them, don't offer incentives to anyone at that time. The last car, I bought over 10 years ago, again I can't recall incentives or not.
I can also purchase on my own with the "X" plan, I think that's below dealer cost as well, but at a lower percentage.
