Comparison new holland 311 vs 570

OK still here. So I found two maybe deals on little square balers. First is a 311 with. 70 thrower. ( don't want the thrower) . 570 all manual settings 1700 more. Let's call them the same shape. The way the dealers were talking ...... Think the 570 is in better shape and both are 150mi away or better.

My question is the 570 worth 1700 more? I know nothing about balers, and diving in head first.

A 570 is worth about 3X what a 311 is worth. Capacity, parts availability, etc.

Here is the up date I ended up buying the 570 for 6700$ the cast gears that run the packer forks are not even broke in yet and the paint on the pickup is not worn much at all. It does have some newer parts on it springs,pickup guards etc.. It is a 1993 model.

Not sure if those are very good indicators of how much use it has had but all the guys that have looked at it say that it hasn't seen much use.
