Tractor
kubota
I don't need much of a tractor, just around the home 5 acres clearing a little brush hog, 25hrs a year.
Found this one for under 8k, thoughts.
I know it's older and bucket is pinned and bent.
I know about Tstat removal for over heating but overall thoughts with 1500hrs Hydo drive?
How hard is it to fit inverter for FEL? I guess just match flow rate?

For the money not a bad deal for 34HP tractor. It has seen some rough treatment - no headlights, front grill upside down, but if everything works and no odd noises or mechanical issues or hydraulic, leaks etc. its worth it.

If you clean it up and put a new bucket or add a QA setup bucket it would be a decent machine.

Don't understand what you mean by "inverter" for FEL - not familiar with that term or option?

Sorry, 3rd function/diverter valve for possible Add a Grapple atop the bucket.
These look like 1st gen then TC, Boomer and now Work Master.
Guessing size equal to JD 955 in it's day?
Thanks

I had a New Holland 1925, and it was a real nice tractor. I think you could buy a couple of rectangular LED lights on Amazon that would fit in the grill well enough.

Is the bottom of the bucket straight?
Why was it overheating?
Did it ever get real hot?
Does it run in the middle range without a thermostat?

If it is mechanically sound, that's a good price for a pretty capable tractor.

I'm guessing you are thinking about this Add A Grapple
You would need a diverter and a 3rd function valve if you don't have a rear remote. It would probably work best if you had a tooth bar on your bucket.

If you are looking for a grapple primarily to move brush, it would be a lot cheaper to buy clamp on debris forks.

Or, make your own,

You can add a third function pretty easily - $600-1000 - WR Long makes a good kit, I installed one on my B21 last summer, and a QA conversion which opens up more options like forks and grapples etc.

Or if you just add the grapple to and straighten out the existing bucket and the 3rd function would be a lot less.
