New Holland 1620 Hydrostatic Transmission Fluid

Where do you add transmission Fluid I have my brother-in-laws tractor making a terrible noise when trying to drive. Pull the dip stick out on center hump nothing shows on stick. need to know where to add fluid. put some hydrolic fluid in port behind seat and never showed up on stick

The fill port is under the toolbox behind the seat (accessed from behind the tractor) There is a black rubber cap. See attached picture.

Not a good sign if it is empty and making noise. Use only recommended fluid for the unit. May be 134 but not sure. It holds quite a bit if empty. If it is empty, some damage has been done probably; most likely it is low enough to not show on dipstick.

Ford 1620 manual lists it as "Ford134" with a part number of 1GM-134C. Probably the same stuff.
