Hi, I have been reading on this site for quite a while and am very impressed. I have a Kubota G1800s for about a 1 yr. now. Bought it used from a Kubota dealer and just love it! My PTO belt broke and I got 2 belts from the dealer and put them on, started the mower and one broke in about 2 seconds. The dealer is closed now so I am asking here:
Why are there 2 belts? It runs fine with just the one. Will I ruin anything by going ahead and mowing with it? Thank you.

Not familiar with your model.Something is not right to break a new belt that quick.Should be obvious.Won't hurt to run one belt but you should get it repaired as soon as possible.
