I've been prowling around the site, checking out the info on the chinese tractors. I've been checking out the Jinmas and they sound like they are just what I've been looking for but I have a couple of questions. I've noticed most owners say they are good little tractors for the guy who doesn't mind turning a few wrenchs now and then. Now I don't mind doing stuff like that. I do all of my own routine maintenance on my car's and trucks. Things like brakes, oil and fluid changes, tuneups, carb rebuilds, u-joints and minor wiring repairs don't bother me, but I don't want to have to make repairs everytime I need to use the tractor. Things like clutch's, trannys and differentials I usually leave to an expert. Will a Jinma work for me?
Thanks in advance.

I have a Jinma 354 and know a couple of other people that own the smaller 25hp Farm Pro's. I've been visiting the Chinese tractor forums for almost three years and for the most part everybody loves them. It does'nt matter what brand you buy someone will have had a bad experience. Depending on what your going to do with it I really like the extra horsepower of the 30 to 35 Jinmas. I just came in from bushogging 10 acres with mine and it never even got warmed up. The TY395 engines are the same as in the chinese dozers. No matter which you buy check out the clutch and drivetrain operation to make sure they are correct. The most important thing is getting a GOOD dealer. Depending on what area your from there are several dealers out there that will make it right and a few that won't, do some homework by visting all the Chinese tractor forums where people actually own and use them. You'll find most people that don't own Chinese tractors to talk them down but they are actually a pretty darn nice machine for the money. Theres a dealer that advertises on here he's one of the best that sells the Farm Pro and I believe the Karma.

Just from what I have seen.. it sounds like the jinma's have their maintenance issues.. but actual chassie is pretty well buttoned up. Not much different than owning a decent condition antique tractor.. And as with anything.. it should last based on how you use/abuse it.... Compact tractors aren't bulldozers..
