Tractor
2182
I am new to this forum and wanted to say hi . I own a 1532 a 2182 cub cadet and a very old Sears tractor from the 70s
Just was out blowing snow a week ago and had a big metal on metal noise come out of the front of the 2182.
I checked and the belt had shattered taking all of the wiring with it. I just replaced the belt and patched the wiring only to have a burning smell and after checking find that the clutch is dead shorted (across the 2 leads)
Do I have to replace the whole works? I took the bolt off of the front of the crank shaft and the clutch moves about 1/2 an inch but doesn't slide off. Any help is appreciated. After a raft of problems with both Cub Cadets I was thinking they were yellow for a reason.
