Hi all, I am a guy that just loves old machinery, preferably running, if not then getting it running. Particularly love steam engines whether stationary or in a locomotive, traction engine, plowing engine or what. I worked a lot, back in England, with an old Field Marshall one lunger which was a brute for torque, on the country lanes it seems it would pop once every telephone pole. Life threatening to start it on a cold morning though it did get you to pay attention real quick. Anyways, I found this site (thankfully) as I recently was given an early 70's Horse1 tiller which needs work on it. I also have a small JD 650 that has saved me more chiropractic bills than you could ever imagine. I haven't totally figured out my way around the site yet but am working on it. Look forward to chatting with folks with similar interests. James
