New guy

Hello, I just found this site and am looking forward to poking around. In the last 6months I have moved my family on to 3acres in the country. Just yesterday I bought a John Deere 301-t diesel loader tractor with a scraper box on the back. It had been sitting for about 5years, so I will be getting it into working order. I put new batteries in it today and it started right up and ran for about 30 seconds before it slowly died. So, I will be looking into this problem.
