Twenty minutes in this Florida heat and I am soaked. I would love to see where you modify your frame. I don't see me putting a FEL on my 2wd because I think I would be disappointed if it didn't perform in a manner proportionate to the amount of money and effort invested.
I am a few years your junior, however, I find that my endurance is declining gradually as well. I take a LOT of breaks.
