New guy with 800 Ford carb problems

Hi all. Dad left me an old 800 Ford that I use to maintain about 15 acres of pine trees plus bushhogging several other properties. The tractor has been a gem, except the carb needs constant attention. Luckily I have a buddy that grew up with Ford tractors, but I hate to keep bugging him. He can usually get it going in no time. I'm an appliance serviceman, but not much with carbs.

Any online resources or advice on maintaining/cleaning Ford 800 carbs?

the ms carbs are easy to rebuild. the zenith a littl eless so and slightly more finicky.

just grab a kit, and a bucket of dip and a can of spray and go at it.
