[No Cents]

A big howdy from New Mexico. Grew up on a dryland farm, thus I have No Cents. Do a little farming, ranching and not near enough hunting. Dang drought is hurting our wildlife as well as way of life. Also do building construction just to stay out of trouble on my days off.

Joined this site trying to learns about some older and smaller tractors than what I grew up herding from turn-row to turn-row. Hope I can add a bit, but I think I have more questions than knowledge right now.

And if any of you folks are into cigars or single malts, we share the same bad habits.

Eastern NM, a little south of Portales. You may have heard of Portales over the last couple of years. Largest organic peanut processor in the US is located there, had a little problem with samonela and is no longer in business.

Used to work for El Paso gas in early '60 and drove From Gal to most everywhere in Southern to middle of N.Mex.
Remember the peanuts grown and the type with 3 gobbers in the shell were good. What caused the disease?

News today says the underground nuclear storage depot Carlsbad had a explosion several injured.
