Purchased a 66'' grapple from Express Steel yesterday. Got it on today and I love this thing. It's gonna be so handy. I have it mounted on my L3940 IMG_20180901_114859226_HDR.jpegIMG_20180901_114849971_HDR.jpeg

I have some large trees I will be cutting down soon. Already had the 3rd function valve so I just had to purchase the grapple. Spent a couple hours this morning does great.

I've got a Tomahawk that looks identical to yours. Picked mine up at the factory in Nappanee. No complaints so far.

I got my Land Pride grapple four years ago. Amazing implement. Looks like yours fits your tractor well.

Steve - finally got back around to this thread. Let me show you something that you should SERIOUSLY consider - now that you have your grapple. You can do a search here on TBN and find way too many posts where folks have damaged their - grills, radiators, batteries, hydraulics etc, etc. This shows what a bit of time and some expanded metal can do to your OEM grill guard and provide a bit of additional protection. A grapple will bring an all new supply of limbs, sticks, stobs etc, etc to challenge those "front parts" of your tractor.

Very good advise! I like your grill and have been considering adding something similar to my bush bars after finding a puncture my plastic radiator grill...

Thanks for the heads up on this. I purchased my tractor used and didn't notice that it had some front end damage from the previous owner. I will work on that ideal.

Thanks again
