Thanks 4shorts. I'll look back at your post on the exhaust. I thought I remember you having to omit the muffler. I love the sound of the turbo, but I would be concerned about my residential snow removal and being too loud. I heard your video, but it's not the same as standing right beside it.

No the muffler stayed. I just shortened the tail pipe and did the re-routing of it. I'm in a resediential area as well and don't want to ruffle any feathers so the tractor is very quiet. I don't even hear the turbo unless I rev it up stopped.

Oh ok. Good deal. I'll put that on my other mods list when I take possession. Along with, electric linear actuator for the bucket quick hitch, transplanting my strobes and arrow lights, front fenders, stereo and speakers, pat's easy change, roof insulation, etc. I'm sure the list will continue to grow and never be complete.:cool2:

That's the fun of owning these things is adding our own touch. Sounds like you got some fun ahead of yourself. It took me two months getting mine ready for the winter but I'm comfortable now :). Good luck

Been there for many years up until 2 years ago when I got my B3030 with cab. Believe it or not, it was my wife's idea for the cab.:D Thanks!

Yeah this will be my 5th tractor to modify and make my own. All of which specific to pushing snow. This one I hope to be able to make a little money in the off snow season. I started snow removal with a 4' x 4' sheet of plywood, a snow shovel and a coffee can to throw my ice melt and graduated gradually from there. But like you, I have a passion for fabricating, personalizing and coming up with something that no one else has. At least for that application.

Do you have any pictures, I am in the planning stage of putting hooks on my 5030; no worries about pristine paint on mine.

TripleR, here is how I installed a receiver for different attachments on my B3030. Hope this helps. Stanley

High Compression,
That has been my idea too get everything you wan't on the tractor out the gate, I have never regretted getting any option. Being a retired broadcast engineer I have no use for a radio or tv in my tractors. That is something I am trying to escape.

Thanks. As I said before, the hardest part is taking the plasma cutter to the new orange paint.

I guess I'm going to take possession Tuesday. I'll try to get some pix posted for everyone. Maybe on this tractor I'll document all of my modifications like 4shorts for our entertainment here on TBN. First I have to put a new axle under my 02' f-350. Then here comes the shop time.

More pix to come. Here's a start though. First thing was first. Had to make sure the plow was functional just in case.

Some plow. I hope you have a serious ballast box for the rear.

Forget the plow, that is one SWEET shop!!! Looks like it is close to 70 feet wide? And I can't tell where the back is, but prolly 40ish feet deep?
The tractor is really nice too. You should get a lot of good work out of it.
