New Grand L-40 . . . Bigger?

I was at my Kubota dealer's place today checking out the progress on my upcoming M7040. In the shop there was an L5040 they were working on. . .changing the tires. It seemed to me that thing is significantly larger than the Grand L-30 series. There sure did seem to be a lot of orange sheetmetal steel there. Almost looked like a smaller M-series tractor. Maybe it's the sloped hood. I don't know if it's an illusion or not. Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe the dealers can chime in on if it truly is bigger with the new series.

My memory of the specs is that the new '40 series is actually lighter weight than the '30 series . . .
