I just brought home my new GC2400L this Friday. Thought you all may want to see pics. Thanks to all on here that helped me get to this point. Took a lot of research to get here. I have had very little time to play with it (got a new baby at the same time). I was surprised how quiet it is at full rpm. Seems to go good through the snow when you kick in the 3 wheel drive. I also found a box blade to buy when I was picking it up. Still waiting on my tiller, cultivator, and middle buster I ordered. I can see what people were talking about with the lack of position control. Gonna take some skill to do fine movements. Can't wait till spring so I can see what this baby can do! A blizzard would be nice in the interim though. Lol.

Thanks again all

Always thought him calling tractors "blue Hollands" was cute. Not sure about what sounds like "our nasty ferguson". Lol

Congrats! Enjoy it. Like you I'm looking forward to the spring to start my landscaping projects but I'm having fun in the snow while I wait. I am anxious to see how the 3 pt controls work as I get more practice with the box blade and rake. I knew it would be a compromise when I got it, it will definitely beat doing the work by hand!

Just got done digging out from "snowzilla". Amazed at how much power this little thing has. Also very pleased about being able to get into tight spaces with it. Just further confirmation I made the right choice. Have been pushing with the loader then backing with the back blade. Learned today to secure the lock nuts on the 3pt. Thing ended up at a pretty good angle by the time I was done. Had no power issues and very few traction issues. Glad I didn't get the snow blower with it, forgot how much the kids like the snow piles. :)

Just me not noticing, or do you have a weight on just the left wheel?

Why yes, yes I do.

I ordered one on each, but one just never would come in. So with the snow storms pending I picked it up. So a couple of days ago the dealer contacted me about the IRS screwing I have to take for paying cash and told me that the MF warehouse misread the pick ticket and never shipped it. So, here I wait, hardware in hand for my right weight to show up. I am also waiting for my service manuals and some filters I ordered to come in as well. Oh, and the real block heater I ordered (from another dealer that was closer). Been lotsa waiting on this deal.

Your gonna love the GC2400. I love mine.

With a little practice, the 3 point will be like second nature, mine was. Just remember, tractors didn't always have position control, but they got the work done(just takes more 'eye/hand' coordination).
