Hey, my name is Chris. I live in the high plains outside colorado springs on 5 acres. We just purchased a FarmPro 2425. It came with the front loader, and a rough grass cutter on the back. We went ahead and purchased an American Farmer Box Scraper since we live on a hill side and have multiple drops and rises on the property which we want to level with the house, and would also like to make a good driveway, since our current one is a 1/4 mile of potholes...
I stumbled upon this site after having trouble getting the box scraper to do exactly what I wanted it to do. Which was dig, scrape, or drop dirt where and when I wanted to. I googled up some box scraping tactics, and low and behold I get this website with an extremely helpful set of posts from one of your members by the name of 3RRL. Now I am making some real progress on the property. I will start spending some time reading and posting on these forums now since I want to learn as much about operating our tractor as I can. I am in the process of launching a landscaping business and plan to start advertising in the next week since I now have a tractor.
