New Ford Diesel

Anyone have a new PowerStroke? Was considering getting a new one as my 1999 7.3 is getting a little rough around the edges. It doesn't bother me much and runs great with 167k on the clock but the wife wants a new truck.
I have been a bit reluctant to jump too fast especially after all the bad press the 6.0 has received. I will probably wait a year or so and see how they shake out but they sure look great.

You may wish to post this question on the transportation forum & check it for previous threads on this subject. I seem to recall some posting of problems associated with this new engine's computer reducing power because of over heating during an exhaust filter regeneration cycle.

The new 6.4 is a Brute! If you have the means I highly recommend picking one up! It has no resemblance to the 6.0 liter whatsoever.
