I am learning from your thread. Thanks for posting your progress![/QUOTE]

Well Thank You! I will keep updating the thread with our progress. We are going to have to take a short break from the fence soon. We have a few other small projects that are coming up that's got to be done. We got to get started spraying and it won't be long before it will be time to start putting out our nitrogen plus the PC shop is starting to pick up again. You can't get much done on this short days.

Have to agree, looks good!

I've built quite a bit of fence for myself and for others. I always enjoy seeing peoples work and various methods of building corner and end braces.

x2

I'm a fencing contractor as well, nice to see the way it's done in other parts of the country.

As for brace wires, I too use 12.5 ga high tensile wire with an in-line tensioner to tension it. I only use a single wrap and have never in all the fences I have built have had a failure. Depending on the length of the pull and type of fence I'll use anywhere from 1 to 3 brace assemblies. I pull woven field fence tight with either a tractor or 3-ton come-along.

If yall are looking for a good driver look elsewhere than those made in the USA. I have a Munro Digger-Driver (from Australia) that is an excellent machine for setting straight posts no matter the condition. Another model I might checkout is the Vector Powerdrive post drivers (from Ireland). All hydraulic, super rugged and amazing driving force.

Sounds like a plan.

Sorry for the delay, it's been a busy week so far. We have already unhooked it from the tractor doing some other stuff but I picked it up with the hoist to get two good pictures. It anyone happens to know the manufacturer I would appreciate it.

Please overlook the nasty shop!
