Hmmm, you have some real work scheduled, and commuting as well. Gotta be real, to do it, you're going to need 4wd, FEL, and the task to lift your welding equip will drive overall tractor size and FEL lift capacity...I think you are looking at 55 or more hp. Best wishes...don't buy until you have proven the tractor will lift your welding gear to the height you need...paper specs are hard to translate into real world lift capability for the exact task you have.

thanks texas john, I agree with the tractor size. I will not know for sure if it will lift the skid, until I build it, in this shop I am building on the property. I have been to a few dealers, kubota and cioti, they have some very different numbers. I am not sure what I believe.....looks like more reading.

For those of you that took the time to say hello and give your suggestions, thank you. Today I bought a 2009 Kubota M6040HD with loader (800hrs). Also I purchased an 8ft Bush Hog rotary cutter, box blade, and pallet forks. I am so excited to get this to the property and start working.

I don't have the tractor yet, they are holding it on their property till we close on land (6th of june). I WANT TO PLAY WITH IT NOW! This is the picture from their website. I will upload more when I get it loaded on a trailer and do the first haul to the property.
