Kioti DK45S
I just got back from Upper Valley Tractor in Enfield, NH. I just bought a DK45S w/KL451 FEL and KB2485 Backhoe. Dave will deliver it Wednesday after I get out of work.
Wow! What a tractor. I started out shopping for a tractor of about 30-35 hp. I looked at New Holland, Kubota, MF, JD, Mahindra and Kioti. Somehow the tractor kept growing.
Dave gave me a great deal on the 45, so that's what I bought. I doubt I'll be able to hurt it.
Wednesday sure seems like a long way off now.

Welcome to the Pack!

That DK45 is nice looking machine. Is that BH one of the new curved booms they are using? It looks like it in the picture on their website.

Where abouts are you in NH? I am in the Wolfeboro/Winnipesaukee area.

When I got my new CK20, my dealer kept posting pictures here of the progess they were making while installing the cab and other options. That made the wait a little easier but it's still tough.

Yes, it has the new curved boom backhoe. KB2485 i believe is the model of it.
I had Dave install a mechanical thumb on it also.
Dave's great and so are his guys in the shop.
Wednesday sure seems like a long way off.

Tractor just kept growing huh . . . it's funny how they do that.;) Mine did they same thing, went from a 15hp tractor to 45hp. I got a little nervous the first couple of weeks thinking maybe my motto of "you can never have too much hp" had finally bitten me in the a**. But as time as come to pass I find us using the DK more and more. We are on just under 5.5 acres but it is a 30 year old farm and it nees LOTs of work so the 45 comes in handy. Congrats on the purchase.

Dave from Upper Valley Tractor delivered my DK45S last night. He was getting ready to unload it when I got home from work @ about 5:20 pm.
What a machine! Dave spent quite a bit of time going over the tractor with me before he left and then I got it dirty digging out a stump. I'm a happy camper.
I played more this evening. I dug out two more stumps. Bigger ones this time. Now I'm glad I got the 45 instead of the DK35SE I planned on in the beginning. Actually that's 38 hp and when I started looking I was look in the 25-35hp range.
Bigger is Better!
My wife was a little shocked when she got home and saw what a beast I had bought.
If this works, here is a couple of pictures of my new toy.

Awesome Tractor!

The backhoe almost looks undersized compared to the tractor, but I bet it is a beast. It looks like the feet on the backhoe stabilizers are flat, the first thing you want to do is get the "big foot" feet for it or weld some angle iron on it so it grabs the dirt better. As it is my little CK20 backhoe will drag the tractor around even with the feet planted, I am sure flat feet would be pretty useless.

Here is a picture of my backhoe for reference:

Yeah, feet are flat. The boys up at Upper Valley Tractor showed me a set of feet for it. I plan to make a set this week.
I'm still getting the feel of operating it but the hole machines is awsome.

That my friend is an awesome looking rig you've got there!

I test drove the CK35 and DK35 yesterday. The DK35 wasn't much more money than the CK35 and I quickly concluded that it was more than worth the extra money.

I never did ask about the DK40 or the DK45.

Did you look at the DK40? What was the price difference btw between the DK35 and 45?
