New Deere compacts

Just checked out a 4066 Deere with a fantastic cab. It's like a rolling sofa with all the safety amenities. They do a great job of fit, finish, compact design engineering, and value. I should stay away from the green dealer as one day I will cave to a garage sale and purchase. With 55 acres I can almost justify a cab tractor of fifty plus hp leading the way.

Just make sure that the Deere you buy doesn't use their terrible plastic bodywork. If you keep equipment any length of time, you'll be replacing expensive body panels. Sometimes more than once. I own 2 Deere machines now, and had 2 more previously, and ALL of them have required replacing bodywork somewhere during there life. NOT cheap. Much rather have metal body work that can we very easily repaired.

Be sure never to sit on a one (or a motorcycle, boat, car, truck etc). I believe they put something in the seat that acts as a worm/bug/parasite that works towards your mind. Once there it starts you to thinking about all the fun times you will have on it. That's when you are bound to make the purchase happen.

Brother and I went to look at bikes one day. He said go ahead climb on it... I said ain't no way, last time I did I bought a $20k goldwing... I ain't falling for that again... I did, bought a boat...

Just jump in with both feet and buy it. When the new wears off and you forget what it cost, you'll be glad you bought it.
