I'm not sure who is posting for Little Tractor, but as of last year, dealers are not supposed to publish or quote prices on the web. You folks had to change your website for this reason.
You might want to contact these members in private so you can explain your pricing, and delivery charges in more depth, so they will know the final cost.

Dirtworks, I'm quite satisfied with the HST on my CK20.
If I were going to have others using the tractor, HST is the way to go. Too many people don't know how to stay off the clutch, and they slip it too much burning them up way too soon.
I don't know why they can't just put it in gear and go without that foot on the clutch, but you don't have to worry about that with HST. I, too, love that CK30. It's really a capable tractor.
You should have checked with my dealer while you were down here in Jacksonville. He's only 35 miles from here in Lawtey, FL. Good prices and great service. John

John, for me it is better to have my foot near the clutch as possible when skiding logs through the woods. I don't go fast, 2nd or 3rd, but if it gets hung on a stump, rock, whatever, I want to react as quickly as possible. I don't think the tractor would look as nice with four tires in the air...and me under it!! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

What about for mostly FEL, snow plowing etc? Wouldn't a HST be preferable? I haven't seen a standard trans Kioti yet, do they have something like the Deere where the forward/reverse is on the dash for quick changes?

I own a CK30HST and our family has a couple more CK20HST's. I can't say enough about the tractors. I really like the 3 speed hydro on the ck30. Easy to use, plenty of power to the ground, especially in first & second. These are probably the gears you will do most of your work. Our family also has several JD CUT with shuttles so I am familiar with both transmissions. The CK30 will keep pace with our JD 4400 tractor easily. Maybe not quite on the PTO but power to the wheels. But the CK30 starts out slightly smaller hp. I pull a 7' pull type grader blade and a 72" finish mower with mine and have no difficulty. The CK20hst is also a nice tractor but it is not in the same catagory as the ck30. Smaller, very nimble, but not the tractor of a ck30. Suprisingly way more hours on the ck20s though. We don't baby these tractors, we use them everyday in our grain farming operation, alongside the grownup versions. The hydros have worked well for us.

Thanks for the insight and the pic. I've never had anything but a standard shift road vehicle, but after using the deere hydro mowers, and a gravely hydro, I really lean strong that way for a new tractor.

Kioti has models with mechanical and synchronized shuttle shifts. In other words, you push in the clutch and shift a forward/revers lever without having to change gears. With mechanical SS, you stop first, with sychro, you don't have to. Some Deere models don't require using the clutch, but all the Kioti models do.
The CKs 25 and 30 offer both sychro shuttle and HST. The CK20 offers HST and gear drive with first and reverse sychronized. Many people seem to prefer HST for FEL work and snow, but shuttle shifts and regular gear models are not slouches either and one gets quite used to what he/she has. John

This time of year, 75% of my tractors go out with blowers on the rear. While Kioti doesn't make an electronic reverser like Deere, I feel as a homeowner you would be very happy with the Hydro for your snow removal and other chores around your house.
My best package for the CK30 HST would include the KL120 loader w/60" bucket along with a 5 foot blower equiped with a 3" extension wing on each side. That tractor will be very comfortable handling that package as I sell a lot of them in our area of NH.
Talk to your local dealer and have him price a package deal for you. Another thing to consider is a set of chains. Best place I have found is www.tirechains.com in PA. They have a nice set of chains with ice clips that my customers love.
Good luck

I assume you mean the KL130?
Other than that, I have finally come to the first task my ck30 couldnt handle. I waited too long to move a dirst pile that has now pretty much frozen and with the frozen ground and frozen dirst pile, I just cant get the power or traction to move into the pile with the loader. Oh well guess it stays there till spring. Other than that, the tractor is unbelievable!

OK Brian....I don't understand what a 'dirst' pile is.
Is that when you mix 'dirt and dust' together.........it become 'dirst'? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
