Kubota BX24
Well the time finally came, and she was delivered this morning. It's quite a little machine, haven't done a whole lot with it yet, but the workload by spring will be quite large. Feels good to be a Kubota owner at last, after 6 months of research. See attached for a picture of the beast :)

Not sure what you owned before, but if this is your first REAL tractor I am sure we will be reading reports in the near future of how much you love your new friend! :)

Even the little ones like the BX series sure can do a lot of work...Enjoy!

PS...I see you are breaking that baby in correctly...judging from what your first load in the bucket is...

um...my old tractor is a Toro 13hp 38" cut LOL. So yes, this is the first 'real' tractor :)

Mopauly,

Tractor looks great and I'm sure you'll get many years of use from it. Make sure you empty your Bucket before taking a scoop of stone or dirt though. Looks like very valuable merchandise in there at the time of the pic.....

MOPAULY - just so you know - I have a relatively new BX24 too... you can put a LOT more of that payload in the loader... it will lift it!
Congrats and enjoy - if you are like me you will discover things you didn't even know or think it could do - getting done!

Now that you have had it for a couple of weeks, how do you like it now? You certainly have put a lot of work into that lawn to keep it looking so green. What is your secret? Dusty

Dusty - so far so good. I've been impressed with the power this thing puts out. I've done quite a bit with it so far and it has done everything I've asked it to and then some.

The photo is decieving, the lawn looks green because of my older digital camera. We just moved in here and the lawn overall is not that great, I have my work cut out for me. I don't have any 'secrets', but I do plan to completely redo the front lawn in the spring.

Basically I overseed in the fall, and tear out patches of weeded areas as needed, the roots go deep. I also use the Scotts brand of fertilizers, but I've found that basic overseeding and good old plain watering do the majority of it for me. There are also inexpensive organic fertilizers that my wife has got me using as well.

JD - no light stuff around here :)
