Cokeman

I'm interested in knowing where you bought. I'm pricing out a BX2200, and have a Deere 345 to trade. How many hours did you have on the TG? I am not familiar with that machine but it looks kinda link my 345, except the 345 has a gas engine.

I'm in the Milton area. I'd appreciate knowing more - thanks

I bought this from Richview Equipment in Barrie. It's a small family run outfit and Kubota is their main line of products. I bought my TG from them 2 years ago and I really like the way I'm treated there.

I have only 50 or so hrs on the TG, it's in showroom condition, and it came from there so that's probably why they gave me $6800.00 for it. It has the same 18 hp 3 cylinder diesel as the BX1800. I stated above why I chose to move up to the BX and it certainly wasn't because I wasn't happy with the TG. I also think it cost more than the JD 345.

Went by the dealer today and I have a couple new developments to report. There was a problem getting the Agro Trend blower so I'm getting a Lucknow instead. Dealer said it cost 200.00 more but I don't have to pay the difference.
This blower is heavier and he really urged me to get front weight added to balance the machine. When the dust cleared I got the weight for cost so I'm happy. I don't think I'll be tearing this blower up any time soon.

How much was your dealer quoting?

Frank: It may take a year or two but I suspect I will get a fel.
BTW I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve.

Boustany: I forgot to mention the TG1860D is shaft drive from engine to trans and belt from trans to mmm. It also has electric power steering. The same machine with liquid cooled Kawasaki gas engine is about 2000.00 less. You really pay a premium for the diesel in the garden tractor class.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the additional info.

Yep, I'd expect to pay extra for diesle, and an extra cylinder!

I guess I'm trying to figure out a good replacement for my 345, while keeping the 3010. Mucho $, though!
