I got my Optima at Sam's Club. It was only $114 as I remember. They've gone up considerably, but you can put it in and forget it. That's worth a lot in my book.

Yep, that is the standard cooler on a Class III Boomer. Actually some of the newer Class IIIs had a redesigned cooler that was prone to break welds where the coolant lines enter the cooler. Mine is the old design with a very rugged neck below the fitting, and has held up well.

I replaced the factory battery in my TC45D about 2-1/2 years ago. I chose an Optima red top. It has been flawless since I installed it. I had installed a battery box to keep the acid from the OEM battery in check, so I just dropped in the Optima and put a piece of padding around it to help hold it in place during rough operation. Here's a picture.

I like that option of a nylon strap as well, its not like I take my tractor on anything really rough anyways.
