It looks like you have a new windmill, shiny blades and all. Is it an 8 footer? Is it for aesthetics, or is it pumping water? If you are using it for your water, how high is your tank and how big is the tank? Just wondering, you don't see all that many around here and 1/2 of the ones that you do see are just for looks.

I also picked out a rear blade since my old one is just to small. The new blade is a Woods 96" that weighs 650 lbs. .

Hate to break it to you, but the new blade is too small too. Far too light weight for the tractor. My opinion is that you just wasted your money getting it. I'd try and trade it back at full price on a "real" blade rated for 100+ hp.

The windmill is a 6' Aeromotor tha is about 8 months old. It is a real working motor but I don't have it hooked up to a well/pump. Right now we are just using it for looks. The total height is about 30'. I don't have a water tank yet.
The windmill we had up until this last Feb was an antique Aeromotor but a small tornado destroyed it.

Aeromotor is the way to go. Was the one that got destroyed turned off when the tornado hit? Hope that you kept the parts, They can be worth a little bit to someone that may happen to need just a part or two.

We have a 12 footer on a 27' tower for now. Pumps 280 gallons an hour into our 10,500 gallon tank. Of course that is when the wind is blowing and for us, that is most of the time. It's been working for us now going on 9 years.

Brian,

The old mill was off at the time. The new one part wise is almost identical to the old design. I have already had to borrow a few parts that were missing on the new one.

The amount of water that yours can pump is very impressive.

With Kubota's financing rates it is a hard one to pass up. I wanted to wait a few more years to buy mine but I hear with the 2010 emissions standards coming out the prices will rocket up again. Right now is a buyers market. Whom ever gets your M95 will not regret it. it's an awesome machine.

Good luck, Rick
