New B7800 on the way

According to the BH set-up manual, there is a different set up for the B2400 and the B7800. I think your dealer did not change the set-up when he took it off of the 2400. According to the manual, your top frame bar (the one that goes from the top locking pin to the main BH frame should be using the top holes. Check to see if that bar is using the top holes or the bottom holes. That would position the lower lifting arms in line with the top holes on the locking pin plate. It would also move your seat away from your other seat (I think). Of course, you would be unable to remove the top locking pin until you removed the lower lifting arms, but you are doing that anyway. I suggest that you get a BH manual or go to the dealer and look at theirs and see if the BH is on the proper holes for the B7800 frame. Now, I have not talked to my dealer, but am going on what my manual is showing. I am still going to talk to my dealer and see if there is any difference in using the different set up. Congratulations on your choice of tractor.

The B7800 is my first tractor, but I don't think I could have made a better choice. Looking back, it was probably one of the best purchases I've ever made to improve our property. Even the wife agrees.

I do wish you would put some dirt on yours though... those pictures make me orange with envy.

Hey I got dirt on it. Just fine dust from the land, no mud. Land sits at 6000' elevation with an average rain fall of 12". Average humidity less than 10%. Perfect place for my hobby of astronomy, with a 360 degree view right down to the horizon, and no major light pollution (cities) for 100 miles. Located 20 miles from a town called Carrizozo, New Mexico for those who want to look it up on a map. I have attached a picture of a rising moon as I look acoss my land.
