Loaded rears wouldn't change any balance issues with the tractor as that is directly contacting the ground, it would help with stability. It would contribute to soil compaction but as far as affecting too much weight in the rear and not enough in the front - loaded tires won't change anything there.

I will get some pics up over the long weekend. I will also look into the piranha bar. Not sure what that is, but sounds like I want one. About loading the rear tires, im not sure how safe it would be, operating with a heavy backhoe, and weights to keep the front end up. Sounds like it would really be pushing it. My lawn is fairly torn up already, due to the thawed conditions. Will have some top soil to spread around come spring. The 4x4 was a must, especially on the slope and slippery conditions.

Here's the PTB thread: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kubota-owning-operating/284670-piranha-tooth-bar.html

i just decided to ordered a b2650 with the 54" bucket, because when i ask about the 60" light material bucket; the dealer look in a kubota dealer guide, and told me the 54" bucket weighs 35lb more than the 60" bucket because it it built heavier. another dealer told me the buckets weigh the same. does anyone know what the real difference in structure is??

No I don't know, not specifically to this tractor or these buckets, but in general any manufactures light materiel's bucket will be larger, and usually taller but made of thinner metal and just not really "beefy". They are made for hauling larger quantities of wood chips, mulch, yard waste or other lighter more bulky loads. There is nothing wrong with them and they are a great idea especially if you have some sort of a quick attach so that they can be changed out to a more durable bucket quickly when you need to haul rocks or dig. I just wouldn't want one for my primary/only bucket.

Usually the wider buckets for any given model are classified as "light materials", mainly so you don't think you can load it up to the max. Having a bigger bucket doesn't make the hydraulics stronger or the frame stouter. Thus, the bigger bucket should only be used to full volume with lightweight materials as k0ua notes. Smaller bucket has less volume and can be filled with more dense material.
