Put 2 hours moving compost/dirt already

I did have a question about the field mower. It makes a fairly loud vibrating/scraping noise hike running is this normal? Don't have any experience with field mowers just lawn tractors



Also does anyone have a good critter deterrent to keep mice from moving in when not in use?

I don't believe the finish mower should be making any scrapeing sounds at all
I would try to see what might be hitting or binding

Nice tractor thanks for the pics. As far as mice go, poison works the best but doesn't stop them from getting started. They make these bags of strong smelling stuff that is suppose to help keep them away.

Regarding the mice, I have had some success with drops of peppermint oil. My wife made some small containers out of netting (holds 3 cotton balls) and I put a few drops of peppermint oil on them every couple of months. I am only using them on the vehicles currently, but eventually will get around to having them on most items. Peppermint oil is expensive, but does not take much.

I have one too, but I'm envious of you because of the brush mower!

Very Nice Rig. Let us know how you like that brush cutter. Is it a LP1548 cutter?

Your Brush Cutter should not make any metalic noises at all. Don't run it that way, investigate to see what's hitting. The ends of the blades will just miss the sides and rear of the deck by an inch or so. Maybe the side has been pushed in too far and being struck by the blade ends. You should be able to look under it and see where it's hitting.

Or maybe it's a problem with the driveline. Kinda hard to tell by your description. Those cutters are smooth as glass when running.
