New 5055E PTO lever Hard - Impossible to engage

My PTO selector lever [mid/rear] didn't work right when machine was delivered - factory didn't have a snap ring installed correctly.
[dealer picked up / fixed / brought back / with no cost - or effort on my part]
I was initially under the impression it was a cable issue.
This was on a 3046r, but just wanting to stress calling the dealer asap since the factory can have a bad day too.

Service manager from my dealer is scheduled to be here in the morning. I will let yall know what happens.

Problems solved, Tech came out today, Linkage - something was way overtightened under the tractor Loosened it, adjusted it.
Ready to rock and roll.

Good news! I suspected that was the issue due to having an issue with that adjustment myself. My issue involved my 6' rotary cutter "slipping" under load/in tall grass. I was afraid my PTO clutch was slipping or failing. I even swapped cutters to be sure it wasn't the cutter somehow. After posting on TBN and reading through owners manual I learned how to check the adjustment. In the process of adjusting I set it too tight initially and had to readjust to get it where it needed to be.

One more reason I like the "simple" design tractors.
