New 5030 for Christmas

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum just became a new tractor owner when my wife got me a Kubota L5030 for christmas. She included the FEL, the front end snow blower and a heated, air conditioned cab with stereo. Sorry to sound like I'm bragging,,,,,but I am. I thought who else would you tell besides others who also love tractors. Well I better end this here. I need to go out drive around the property in my boxers.

Congrats! I believe that would make your tractor technically a Kubota L5030HSTC. I've tried to tear mine up over the last couple of years. Other than having one hydraulic issue from the start, that the dealer eventually got fixed, the thing seems like a tank. I think you'll be very happy for many years to come! I certainly enjoy mowing in the summer and not having to worry about the bugs, dirt, or heat. In the winter, it sure is nice to not have any concern about the outside temp or if there is any precip. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Rich:

Used to spend some time in Roscommon. Delivered steel to ITT and sledded up there too. My buddy has a cabin on the Ausable right in town.

Sold the sleds. Getting too old for the cold anymore and we lost the account a few years ago.

I traded my 5030 on an M9 this fall. The 5030 wasn't big enough for my farming needs, but a good tractor nonetheless. I miss the HST and the manuverability. The M9 is a handfull in tight places.

I guess if I ever come that way and do go sledding, I can count on you for help.....if I get in trouble.

Did you get it from the dealer in Traverse?

To answer a few questions at once: 1)I believe you are right it is a L5030HSTC 2)Yes she is good looking and still likes *** 3) Live just outside Roscommon 1/4 mile from the south branch of the Ausable River. Retired from the Crawford County Sheriff's Office last year.
