New 5 Series of Utility Tractors From John Deere

I had problems building one, but I found I had not clicked the vertical exhaust on the section for exhaust options. You have to select an option in every section before it will let you go on to the next part.

I just built a $67,000 5105M!!! add a 563 loader and it was $75,000!!! Granted this tractor was loaded, cab, 32/16 trannsmission and 6 remotes, but still...

WHAT is so much better about the M's???

I can certainly see why the 5x25 series will hold its value, the replacement is up tremendously.

Hold on, did u compare apples to apples? I built a 5075M for about $51g's before loader. I think used to be a 5325

I see your point, the 5105M is a 5-7 more hp than the 5625. I just built a 5095, cab, 4wd, 6 remotes, 32/16 transmission without creeper and it was $62,500. I think the 5095 would be between the 5525 and the 5625.

I still ask the same question, WHAT is so improved? I think a loaded 5525 was around 50 or $51,000 before.

Where are you all finding info on the 5M series there is nothing on the Deere website?

If you go to the 5 series in the tractor section of Deere AG and then click "Build Your Own", the configurator will pop up and you can run throught the different base models and options...

Deere builds them for themselves and I would assume they will be built in Augusta like the current 5 series...

"ASSEMBLED" in Augusta ?
Engines by Yanmar, Cummins, Iseki or Mitsubishi ?

Engines by John Deere. In this series of tractors it is my understanding that JD has taken engine production in house and builds their own engines.

"John Deere-designed and -manufactured diesel engines provide excellent torque, fuel efficiency, and durability." - straight from John Deere's website. Really not that hard to find out. On the smaller series, John Deere post the fact that they are powered by Yanmar right there on the tractor's page. It isn't some big, shameful secret.
