New 424

I finally got my new 424 - my first tractor. Spent a lot of time comparing to a JD 1025, but the Deere dealer wouldn't move on price. Even though I am a JD fan, I can't justify throwing money away when I was able to save a fair amount and get a better spec'd tractor. Only got a few hours on it, but loving it so far.

You are going to have a ball with that rig and you lose nothing by it not being a JD except being a near loner. Yanmars are of better quality than JD wanted to pay for it seems to me.

I got my 424 back in May. Tractor is awesome. No backhoe though...

Yanmar makes great tractors. I wish they were more popular as the Yanmar forum is a bit quiet. Maybe there are less posts because the tractors have less problem. Does anyone know why Yanmar doesn't have a bigger share of the market?
