I live in the New England area and I got a price of $23,000 for a 4210, 4x4,eHydro,turf tires, power beyond, and 420 FEL, it seems high to me but please advise. (Yes, this is without a Backhoe) /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

And I thought the John Deere prices in my area were bad !! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
I would run from that dealer and never look back.

Grizzly, I live in New Hampshire but do field service all over New England so I have been to most of the dealers. Let me know where about you are looking an I might be able to help.

Grizzly,

Where are you located in New England and who was the dealer? I would like to know so I don't waste my time with them.

I have been looking at the 4210/4310/4410 series. So far, after only 3 quotes and no haggling, the best price I got on a 4210 with eHydro, FWD, R4s, 420 FEL was around $18,100 including the $400 attachment discount and $300 tractor discount from JD. This was around a 16%/15% (tractor/attachment) discount off list.

The worst price I got so far for the same package was around $19,500. This was around a 10%/15% (tractor/attachment) discount off list.

These prices did not include power beyond, loaded tires, weight box or sales tax. Power beyond should add about $200-$400??? Loaded tires or weight box should add about $200-$400???

From what I have seen on this site, you should expect to get 15% off list on the attachments and 15% to 25% off list on the tractor plus any JD discounts. 25% is near dealer cost so I would not expect this in New England. I would think 15% to 20% on tractor and 15% on attachments is reasonable to expect. You can get list prices off of their website.

Next time, don't drive into the dealers lot with your brand new Hummer H2! Just joking. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

That's the same price I was given here in SE Michigan for a 4410 with FEL. Seems way high. Definately worth renting a trailer and driveing to another state if necessary.

I live in New England and there is no question I paid too much for
my 4100 HST......however.....all prices on tractors are too high in my area.
The Kubotas are more expensive than anything I have seen on this site,
same goes for the NH(s).......this has been discussed on other threads.
The dealers have the attitude of "here is the price....take it or leave it".
I have yet to speak with any tractor dealer who haggles. I spoke with
four delears: Kubota, NH, Cub Cadet and JD before buying my 4100 and finally bought the JD out preference and the proximity of the dealer to my house. I am not making excuses for the high prices because I would love to get one of those Michigan prices, but it seems like that is the way it is in New England /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

It is the same here in the SE tri-county area of greater Detroit. All dealers are very high, bargain little and have the take it or leave it attitude. A 30 minute drive outside of the tri-county alliance is a huge change in mentality and price. I know in certain areas prices are much higher. I'd trade you a lower price to live where I could get a Lobstah roll for lunch any day ! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif ....personally, I am not too crazy about eating
"cockroach from the sea !" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I work in Boston and watch
the lobstermen pull the traps out of oily water that looks
pretty rank from the docks and piers /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Your set-up is one thing...I would never pay 23K for a 4210. I payed less than 15K for my 4110 with 410 loader. I do not remember the 4210 price being 8K higher that what I paid.

that's my point.

That is what I thought you meant /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I cannot believe a dealer would even ask that much for a 4210 /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
