I hate to be dumb but I got off my tractor and the engine cut off and now it will not crank. I am getting an "encutof" on the display. Did i hit something, a switch or etc.?

Check if the PTO is enguaged. Make sure the switch is not stuck in the middle.

Sorry, so far I've only had "nEutOF" which meant the transmission on my 3520 power reverser was not in neutral (and the neutral safety switch was on the off position). The tractor would not crank until I put it back in neutral. It may be more complicated on your HST 3720 with the 2 pedals ??

Do a search in this forum on "nEutOF". I looked in the technical manual and did not find a "encutol" display message. If it is an eHydro, you do not have a neutral switch, you do have the wiring with a jumper where the switch would be on the gear model. The jumper may have pulled loose.

On the 4520 which should be close to yours. under the floor pan close to clutch foot petal area is a switch hard to see but if a stick or some object loosens the connection the tractor runs with no error signals until standing up or getting off seat.then engine dies and will not restart. Hope your parked on dry ground instead of muddy road to crawl under to look.
my switch looked ok only failed to work. a jumper to make contact allowed to start and drive to better area.
Not saying this is the problem just a suggestion of possible condition.

Shouldn't be the PTO which prevents the tractor from cranking but gives the message "PtO on".

wpbvette is the same guy that posted this a month or so back. Never heard another peep until the new one.

"Tractor two weeks old used the backhoe twice and the stabilizer bar bent downward. The pressure from the hydraulic bent the ends downward. The arms are made from 3" channel Iron. Why did they bend downward? Was the tractor 3720 to heavy for the ends to side together as it raised and thus bent the arms down? It eventually broke a weld on the hydraulic mounting plate. picture / \, instead of sliding together it just bent the metal. Is there anyone else that has had similar problems with JD 375 backhoe?"
